Description
I believe Tolkien mentioned Dwarfs riding ponies several times, so while drawing this pony I decided to make it's tack somewhat dwarven-inspired.
by 'dwarven', I mean the kind of style used on the dwarven architecture and armour in the LOTR movie trilogy, cause it was fun.
anyway...could have been more heavily dwarven, but meh, he was fun to draw, espcially his mane and tail.
and yes, I'm aware his back is too long and his right hind leg looks wrong, even under all the feathering...

Well, looking at the height of the stirrups below the ground and the size of the saddle compared to the general size of the horse, i think, that's actually a very large pony, more like a full size warhorse.
